Shade innovations (SI) officially introduced the KAOS VINYL—a solution that aims to transform outdoor spaces into comfortable, all-season environments without sacrificing the scenery.
The company said that the solution is designed exclusively for SI’s KAOS platform and combines clear vinyl technology with a motorized outdoor shade system. SI said that the KAOS VINYL is engineered to shield outdoor spaces from the elements, such as residential, restaurant and hospitality spaces.
The KAOS VINYL is available in ceiling, wall or pocket mount options and integrate into any architectural design and is built in an effort to disappear into the structure when not in use and provide a transparent barrier when deployed.
The new solution features optically transparent vinyl for a glass-like aesthetic, UV-stabilized formulation to resist yellowing and hazing, an operating temperature range of 120F to -10 Degrees, as well as an included Vinyl Protective Cleaner. It also features ceiling, wall or pocket mount options. The KAOS VINYL is now available in sizes up to 24 inches wide and integrates with SI Ecosystem and Bond Bridge Pro.
